Has anyoen seen deals on taxact this year? In the past I was able to get the 50% off deals on black friday but didn't see it this year. I generally file with the sole proprietorship/small biz one.

As a user of taxact since like 2021 - you can move on. I went to freetaxusa today, got the same results without having to fix as many mistakes as I did with Taxact. It's not worth it anymore. FTUSA was $15, Taxact was trying to charge me $115

Yeah... I've used ta for over a decade, but this year will be the last. Had an issue, called, a CSR refused to look into it and wanted me to pay extra $35 for "pro" help. Asked for a sup - they disconnected. TWICE! I called back, a diff CSR, same story. Screw that.

I am also using TaxAct for a decade, their customer care for the software related issue is not that good as it used to be, they even don't know about their own software functionality. I called almost 4-5 times for different issues and almost all the time it looks like they are struggling to provide me answers. Next year I will definitely find something else. The import functionality is horrible.
