FWIW, I had this exact heater running in my oversized-one-car garage since Friday night in anticipation of this weekend major winter storm. It is performing admirably by raising the garage temp to 60F when it's only 13F outside with windchill of -3F. The heater is sturdy and well made. It's nicely equipped with a remote(battery not included).

I heat bedrooms with these. I had three. One just broke after at least 15 years. Otherwise these are really great.
Only thing is setting to 60 gets my room to 62. However setting it to 65 it will go off at 71-72.

Insulated or attached garage I assume ? Lol no way this is doing a damn thing to a normal garage at 10°

Cheaper for the same or near the same in store at Sam's and Costco. Costco was the real winner at $20. I think Sam's was $40. Online prices didn't reflect store prices.

Semi insulated garage door. The garage door is composed of the outer metal layer and a very thin polystyrene(foam) on the inside. The garage door is over 30 years old. I would suggest you check/install your garage seals all around for leaks.

I have several of these for keeping specific spaces toasty. They do the job!

I have an older model of this, and it has given me many years of use. It is great for instant heat, and directional heat with the oscillating feature. However, if it is the only source of heat, you will be limited to a small room when the temperatures are below freezing.

Yup. Anything more than $20 is a ripoff.
