Yeah, but they all get hot. This was my problem, when I wanted to buy one. They all have reviews that say, "Don't buy this, it gets hot!" Even the Apple one!

I got a similar Anker model for my Pixel and thought I was losing my mind when it would only work some of the time.

No there's a weird bug because it uses an old qi standard. You have to unplug then replug in your charger for it to start again.

It's kind of inherent to inductive charging. I don't care if the charger gets hot but it also heats your phone, which is bad for the battery. So are fast changing rates for that matter. Since I usually just charge my phone overnight, I replaced the inductive chargers I had on the nightstands with cables plugged into the old 1A Apple cube chargers.

Same here, except I use this Lisen inductive charger with Anker cube to charge my Pixel 10 Pro: https://a.co/d/e7xvABc
Got tired of breaking USB ports at some point, when the phone lands on the floor with the cable plugged in.
With 1A top charging rate, it never gets hot. The only disadvantage is that it produces some high frequency noise (15-18kHz), which I can hear if I put it next to my ear. Can't hear it in 6" or more.
Besides, I have the adaptive rate enabled on Pixel, which would normally charge it at 0.1-0.2A rate at night, instead of full throttle.

That's why it was such a frustrating problem to diagnose. It works the first time, and then the next time it didn't. So of course I try a different power brick, and the act of plugging it in makes it work again.
