Note the fine print. It is 3 times stronger than your mouth's natural defenses. This is just an ordinary toothpaste in terms of enamel protection, providing no more fluoride than standard toothpastes. It has potassium nitrate for sensitivity, and THAT differentiates it from, say, Original Crest.
Sensodyne has a lot of marketing fluff.

I actually looked this up out of curiosity. Apparently, in the US, NovaMin is classified as a drug rather than a cosmetic, which means it's more difficult (and expensive) to get it approved for use here. While you can buy Sensodyne with NovaMin in Europe, you can't here (though you can buy it overseas and have it shipped.)
There is a close alternative in the BioMin toothpaste, which is sold here in the US, although it doesn't have fluoride, at least not the version on the website.
You can find the NovaMin version on Amazon for around $20.
I used to get it for $9/tube up until last year but price doubled.
