Note this has nothing at all to keep your tablet from falling forward if you want it to be straight up and down vs angled, I ended up using a little bit of the reusable "poster putty" stuff people use to put up posters that you can easily remove, to stick on the back to hold my portable monitor in

Waste of money. You cannot tighten the joint enough to keep an average Ipad from drooping. Might be good for a phone but a tablet is too heavy.

I bought this Oct 2024 to use with my 11" iPad and it's fine for that. It's well made and worth the price if this size is what you need, and has a smooth rotating pivot base if you turn yours often. The pictures IMO make it look bigger than it is, just keep in mind the base is 4.7" wide. Their ad picture is probably showing an 8" or less tablet sitting on it. I bought a bigger stand when I got a Galaxy 10+ tablet that has a 12.4" screen. This stand could've worked for that but I wanted a little more support.

Probably expected a bigger stand. The ad pictures make it look bigger than it is, though they do list the actual dimension. When I saw it I thought it looks nice, maybe I'll get one, but then realized I already have one of this and it is smaller than it looks in the ad.

A lot of the customer reviews say this stand is unstable. I really don't like that all the product photos show stand only holding the tablet in landscape orientation. Does that mean it is unstable for 12 inch tablets in portrait orientation?
