It will ask you for the phone number and then it will let you choose to renew or upgrade. You can renew with the same plan you have or upgrade to a different plan, each at the current sale price.
Then you choose to either Upgrade Now or Upgrade Later: You'll want to choose Upgrade Later
Upgrade Now
Unused data from your current plan will carry over to your new plan.
Upgrade Later
Your selected plan will begin automatically once your current plan ends.

Infimobile's 10GB, 12 month plan stands out as a very low cost way to get unlimited voice and SMS on Verizon or T Mobile, especially for a second line, backup phone, or light use. The plan can be recharged to start after an existing term ends, and the website now supports renewals and upgrades at the sale price. The main catches are taxes and fees, which can add a lot depending on location, and the 500 MMS monthly cap, which matters more for group chats and media messages. Hotspot is not included on this tier, and service quality and account stability have been inconsistent for some lines.
existing Infimobile customers who want to stack/queue renewals because commenters said you can recharge and have the new plan start after the current plan validity ends (and unused data can carry over).
families or kids' lines where data use is relatively light because one commenter said their kids used it for 10 months without problems and another said they use it as an emergency/backup phone line.
people who mostly use RCS/data for messaging because commenters noted the 500 MMS/month limit likely won't be reached if you're not sending many SMS/MMS (and one said their RCS messages didn't count as SMS at all).
Verizon-coverage shoppers who can verify device/network compatibility because multiple commenters said the plan offers Verizon or T-Mobile and recommended using the compatibility checker (and one chose Verizon because it was better locally).
people using it as a second business line because one commenter said it was "great 2nd business line" for their needs.
anyone who can't risk losing their phone number because multiple commenters reported "suspicious activity" suspensions/deactivations with no clear explanation and warned it could cost you your number or leave you unable to port out.
people who are sensitive to taxes/fees because commenters said taxes and fees significantly reduce the deal value (e.g., totals around $96 or $20+ in taxes/fees).
people who need uninterrupted service for primary communication because several commenters described outages or long disruptions where they couldn't make/receive calls and support timelines didn't match reality.
people who need hotspot heavily (or rely on hotspot for school/work) because commenters warned that using data for hotspot could trigger "suspicious circumstances" and even lead to cancellation with no refund.
people who rely on MMS/group chats a lot because commenters questioned the 500 MMS/month cap and warned group texting could burn through the allowance quickly.
people who expect consistent Verizon performance because one commenter said Verizon on Infimobile felt like "3G" with very poor latency/slow loading even when speed tests looked fine.

you can choose to have it take affect at the end of your current plan. I just did this for a second time, on a second line that is set to expire 1/16/27. It even let me upgrade my second 12 months from 5GB to 10GB/month using the current sale price of $75.:

I checked heavily for any user issues with infimobile ,prior to purchasing. The worst I found was some service issues in various areas for 12-48 hours. Not complete blackouts though. Sounded like localized tower issues.
For me this service has been amazing. 2nd business line already almost paid itself back already with some extra contracts I got this week.
