I chatted to them on this. This won't work. You are locked on Dark Star.

"However, with the multi-network add-on, you can add a second line with a separate number to your primary line that shares your unlimited data plan, but that is on a different network (for example, if your primary line is on Light Speed, you could add a second line on Warp). This addon will not allow your primary line on WINTER149 to change networks."

Dark Star is ATT network, this states MUST remain active on Dark Star.

I have no clue how ATT hasn't closed down because everywhere I've been their network is shit.

private company, owned by a Pakastani, most of their support team works from Pakastan. Though it's a company registered in New York.

I don't know all the workings behind the scenes. I've been with them (5 lines) for a bit over 4 years with no issues (Warp and Lightspeed only)

They are REALLY pushing Darkstar, so gotta be getting some sweet deal from ATT or planning to get a ton of subscribers and hoping ATT buys them out???

I just switched to their annual unlimited premium Dark Star plan for $195 that ended Jan 4th. Do they offer adjustments if under 30 days? Or anything at all?

I bought the 149 plan. I have 2 number to port in. Can I active the 30day trial first, then port the 2nd number to use the 149 plan?

Anyone aware of any deals anywhere close to this on a per-month basis?
My son's phone has been on Spectrum Mobile. We got a year of free service when we switched our home internet to Spectrum, but that promo ended. The first paid bill was $30, and now they've notified us it's jumping to $40/month, which feels high for what it is.
I'm looking at US Mobile's Unlimited Starter annual promo on Dark Star (AT&T) β€” it comes out to $119 for the year with a promo code, so roughly $10/month if you stay on Dark Star the whole time. Verizon coverage is a bit better where we live, but AT&T has been perfectly usable.
Before I pull the trigger, I wanted to check:
πŸ‘‰ Is anyone aware of any other current promos anywhere close to this price point, especially annual or prepaid deals?
Appreciate any suggestions β€” thanks!

For people doing 95% in-town (Denver/Boulder area) and 5% in the Mountains... Is there any real difference between Unlimited Starter Plan vs Premium Plan?

Is the extra $ is worth it?

I wish I can get this deal, I got a year free service when i bought the phone with Boost mobile. The service is OK but it doesnt have other perks like hotspot, international calling that USM gives
If Boost mobile will unlock your phone you can leave now. The max $150 extra you'll be spending is cheap for a plan of this level and will be well worth it if you need the features

This. Same or slightly higher price per month and you get it for a full year instead of 6 months. Plus, you get a lot more. Only possible reason to go with the Tello deal is if AT&T is junk in your area. (Tello is T-Mobile)

No, US Mobile is the best AT&T MVNO and this is the best deal they've ever offered on AT&T (which they call Dark Star). Only possible way you'll find something better is if your son pretty much only talks and texts and doesn't use data, then there are some other options out there.
If you do want to stick with Verizion, Visible is running deals now. They're more expensive but longer duration. I'd personally go with US Mobile for the year and then switch over to Visible after - they'll probably be running another deal in a year.

from the Full Terms & Conditions:
"The line must remain on Dark Star for the full duration of the annual cycle. Attempts to transfer the line to any other network will void the discount, and the line's authorized payment method will be charged the difference between the full price of the annual Unlimited Premium plan and the discounted price."
Does this mean if you port out with a day left on the annual plan (to avoid paying the full price renewal) you will be charged the additional $ to make it like you paid full price for this and not the promo price?! If so, this seems crazy.
TIA.

I'm pretty sure that this is referring to transferring to another network within US Mobile (i.e. Warp or Light Speed). US Mobile will charge you the difference ($390 - $149 = $241) to transfer to Light Speed or Warp. If you decide to go to a different carrier altogether, then you probably forfeit the $149 you paid upfront for this promotion.

Question for those who have had US mobile for more than a year. Is it easy to keep on discounted pricing after the year is up?
I have verizon, and won't be dropping them (family), but I dont get any service at work. Currently I have one of the Tmobile 30gb $10 plans on a 2nd phone to hotspot to my main phone, and it works for price. But ATT actually has the best service specifically at work. Plus the international benefits would also be useful since my VZ plan is stuck on the Do More plans (disney+). I would easily drop tmobile and do the Premium plan on US mobile for $150 a year, if I'm able to get a comparable rate after the 1 year. But if its going to be a struggle after 1 year, then that's got to be a dealbreaker for me since the tmobile 30gb $10 plans are gone now. $390 /yr is certainly more than what I would be willing to pay for a supplementary phone line.

I just tried. No success yet. I ported my number two days ago with the $195 deal. You have 7 days and must use less than 1GB of data to get a full refund. That will be Feb 2 for me. I told the chat agent that I'll port my number out if I don't get a partial refund by Jan 31. The tech said that escalated the partial refund request to another team. Go figure...

$119 is a heck of a deal. You will get $25 master card after 6 months if you use a referral link as well.
