The pour over uses a pretty lame plastic contraption inside. Check video reviews. Folks say it is a pain to clean too. I don't like the idea of pouring 200F water over plastic of any kind.
I would look into stainless funnels like the Kalita 185 etc.

No, I'm saying that coffee makers use hot water all the time. They percolate through plastic. I'm just saying, your thing about plastic feels like it's missing this point.

Not the best for pour over i got one on discount and only used it for the mug which is really good. The strainer is too wide so lots of sediment goes through. And it's hard to clean.

There are plenty of plastics that can get to over 200 degrees without any possibility of leeching of chemicals or microplastics. It's literally science, and it doesn't care about your uninformed assumptions.

Horrible coffee maker, returned it. Flow rate too fast, tons of grounds in your cup, just get a hario v60.

Agree with this.

In an effort to move away from plastic, I ended up using the funnel from this with a metal mesh cone from another glass pour over combo. The metal mesh cone is also a pain to clean, so now i just use a coffee pot filter that I origami into the right size, which brews well enough and on the cheap (200 filters for ~$3 iirc, even cheaper if you buy bleached filters.) No more plastic, and I don't have to worry about breaking glass or ceramic.
