Seems pretty decent. Note the increase in ram on base level models this generations from 8gb to 12gb, so the gap between the 16gb ram 1tb+ models is less pronounced. Imo, for a product that has only been out for a few months, don't think they could have THAT bad wear and tear damage on them, open box good/excellent should be a solid choice.

That's a great point. Makes me wonder what could've happened to have it be fair condition 😆

Picked up one at the $785 Excellent price - judging by the warranty date it had been bought two days before and returned, so it was in perfect condition. Would have bought at the lower Good price but nearest one was a 90 minute drive away.
For me it felt better than the various $699 M4 deals, at $86 extra for one more year of futureproofing, but of course slickness will vary by individual budgets
