Clearing out old kit; new one contains xdt20 impact versus xdt19 in this kit. Same hammer drill in both. Still a great price for what you're getting

I have this hammer drill and the XDT19 Impact. Love the Impact but have had issues with this hammer drill. Truthfully, Its one of my least favorite Makita Tools. I'm sure others will disagree, but I end up using my Makita sub compact Hammer Drill 80+ percent of the time.

Pricey and not even the 40v xgt set. Better off hacking dewalt dcf845b impact driver + dcd1007 hammer + two 4ah batteries drill for $220 at home depot.

I got this deal in Iowa today. I also think it's solid, with the dual 5ah batteries. I have a couple of the black LXT lighter duty combo kits. This kit is way heavier duty. The drill is an absolute beast. It's a chunk.
While I was in HD, I ran across another deal. LXT chainsaw with two 4ah batteries and dual charger. Model # XCU04CM for $210. That's a steal, normally $439. They only had one of these sitting out. Might have just been my store, but keep your eyes out for other model clearance deals. When I talked to the store manager, he said Makita tools are less popular in the Midwest, those stores have more clearance deals. Yay.

Dewalt and Milwaukee get pushed sooo hard in marketing for some reason. Higher profit margin is probably the answer. Either way Makita tools are often better quality and performance. This clearance deal is excellent for these tools. Theres just so many dewalt and milwaukee fanboys
