Been eyeing these and skipped the recent S2 deal for the better tuning, improved ANC and 5-band EQ of the S3. What's the all time low price for this gen? I would imagine $299 is attainable with patience.

Something to keep in mind: Woot's warranty is only 90 days and B&W may not provide their typical 2 years of coverage since Woot isn't an authorized reseller.

At that price point I would definitely go PX8.

Or the smarter bang for the buck, the PX7 S2e if you can find them for $220 or less refurbished - they have the same tuning as the PX8. The PX7 S2 for $150 or less is also a great purchase - they feel like $300+ headphones - every B&W model destroys Sony/Bose in build quality.

I personally own the Sony 1000XM4, B&W PX7 S2E and S2.

Edit- Here's what AI has to say about those models:

Best Overall (Value & Tech): Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3. Released in 2025, it features the newest connectivity (Bluetooth 5.3, aptX Lossless) and improved noise cancellation that rivals the flagship, all for significantly less than the PX8.

Best Luxury & Sound: Bowers & Wilkins PX8. If you want the absolute best build quality (Nappa leather, die-cast aluminum) and a slightly more refined, "audiophile" sound profile thanks to Carbon Cone drivers.

Best Mid-Range Value: Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2e. A solid choice if you can find it on sale (around $399). It shares the DSP (tuning) of the PX8 but lacks the Lossless audio support of the S3.

Budget Option: Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2. Only buy this if you find a deep discount (under $300) on the used/refurbished market; otherwise, the S2e is worth the small upgrade.

Woot also has the PX8 burgundy / gold iteration, new in box, for $399. I have heard and worn both. My wife has the PX7 S3. I have the OG PX8 and also briefly owned the PX8 S2 (which I thought sounded terrible..overcooked, hot, V-EQ). Get the PX8, dial back the bass to -3.5, and you have a good sounding and very, very comfortable headphone.
The leather and materials of the PX8 are much better than those on the PX7 S3.

Good catch. There is no reason to buy PX7 for $349 if you can get PX8 for only $399 brand new.
I made a post for the PX8 deal here: https://slickdeals.net/f/19163455-new-bowers-wilkins-px8-anc-wireless-headphones-399
As the other poster said, the used PX8 deal for $400 was a great deal. For the same price new it's a no-brainer.

Given the PX8 at $399, that sounds like the way to go. But PX7 S3 is not that old, I think the lowest we can expect it in 2026 is $299. I got my pair Open Box from Amazon on BF 2025 for $240, and that was a FP deal. I'd be surprised if New for <$300 showed up anytime soon

Is this deal still on? I don't see a place to input the promo code in Amazon.

Either you are confused or I am. These are at Woot and there is no promo code that I'm aware of.

too frigging expensive for a headset. everyone going jack up these headset prices. I am still using xm3's I bought in 2020 on an amazing deal when they released the xm4's. Looking for an xm4 on a good deal to pass the xm3's to my 10 years old.

The first generation of PX8 was not received well. For someone listening to classical music maybe the PX8's would be the right choice, but for rock supposedly the PX7 3rd generation are better.

I got the PX7 third generation a few months ago for $350 at a retailer known to give discounts, I was deciding between the PX8 second generation for $650 and the ones I got, but didn't think they were worth twice the price.

Supposedly there has been a big improvement in both the second generation of PX8 and the third generation of PX7.
