Yeah but it's regarded how everything is app and battery based. I need to be able to plug this thing into the wall, not have to worry about logging into the app after every update and finding batteries for it after 2Y.

It takes 4 x AA batteries. Did I miss something about the battery supply chain?

I have the earlier non BT version of this. Very nice. Both have capability to store 14 reading in memory too.
Interesting comments about the false low battery readings. Mine does it too.
