No, I work in cybersecurity. Modern EMV credit card chips (post 2015) use dynamic one time codes, so skimmed data is usually useless for fraud, and long range 'electronic pickpocketing' remains rare and overhyped. Recent security reports describe the risk as uncommon and overblown compared to bigger threats like physical skimmers on ATMs and payment terminals. RFID blocking sleeves are cheap peace of mind if you are paranoid in crowds, but most experts call them unnecessary these days.

I actually have this, and quite like it. It's become my everyday wallet. I recommend it.

CMAM4Z8G still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

In for one, my husband has been looking for a new wallet...after 3 attempts it's worth a try for this one.

I like how sleek these are. But I'm old and still use cash almost exclusively, so these can't work for me
Love it! When possible, I walk out of/don't go to places that are cashless. Should be illegal.

I hold my phone on my left front pocket and my car keys and loose change on my right front pocket, so no available front pockets, is this wallet comfortable to use on my back pocket?

Only 6 cards fit into the more secure pop-up section…. worth noting

I've got the Code 118 version of this wallet that's almost identical (the switch is in a different place, that's it). I'm genuinely surprised how quickly I migrated from my old wallet to this one. For $5, DEFINITELY get it and try it out.
Couple notes, the good first:
  • The wallet is super slim and unobtrusive, like 25% the size of my old leather wallet
  • Getting one of the 6 cards out of the main slot is dead easy and low-key satisfying every time
    The bad:
  • The little elastic band works, but can fall off, especially if you pocket your wallet along with other stuff. Doesn't happen a lot but it has happened...I feel like they should coat the back of the band with something grippy to avoid this.
  • You can put cash inside the band, but it's clunky so I usually don't keep cash for long periods, and never more than say 5-6 bills
  • The expansion plate works ok, but it's a little picky to get cards out (i.e. sometimes I have to take all the cards out at once), so I only use it for my backup cards
All in all I haven't used a "real" wallet in over 2 years and the benefit of a super-slim wallet in my pocket far outweighs the annoyances above. Again for $5, you will not regret it, even if you only use it as a "travel wallet".

Anti-RFID snake oil is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. 😂

I bought this wallet and actually liked it. It feels pretty solid. Is there a way to hold an AirTag with this wallet?

Last I heard they still didn't have any examples of anyone losing money in the real world to an RFID grab. Seems to be more of a scare tactic to sell things.

For me its more of a preference, major retailers use RFID to track inventory, my cards have RFIDs in them, for the price difference (is there any?) I'd rather have RFID blocking.

This looks to be an exact copy of the Runbox deal from a couple weeks ago, same exact thing for $5. I got two of that, and so far it works nicely and definitely worth a try for $5. The switch is a little harder to press down than I thought I would be, but I guess that's a good thing so that you don't do it on accident and have cards flying out.
