Cheap, safe wedding ring for me. Safety is an issue for some, but not all walks of life. Metal rings can be much more dangerous. Concerns such as degloving, smashing, and losing an expensive ring might get me beaten again.

These are safe, lightweight, comfortable, cheap, and I am not out to impress anyone with my wedding band, so snobs can feel free to judge me.

I know a guy that his metal ring caught on something when he was in his 20s and he now has a stub on his had where his ring finger was and a finger in a jar.

But if you are into that kind of thing, he can make it look like his finger is way way up his nose, so worth it for some in here maybe?

Look up finger degloving. Also the temp for cutting tungsten carbide, which is a pretty common ring type, basically means you lose your finger if you injured it and it swelled with the ring on. People who work with their hands very often use these, or even get a tattoo of a wedding band instead. I don't like wearing rings, but silicone is comfortable and means I can swap out colors or designs depending on what I'm doing or wearing. I don't need diamonds or gold to "feel pretty" or show off. It's there to show your commitment to your husband/wife.

I would think a silicone ring would always collect lint and would require always wiping it off?
