Yes. You can mix and match deco models.

to share what I have discovered:
The Wifi 6e is tri-band, this is dual-band. The 6e has one band that is meant for back haul among the mesh units. While this may be a deal breaker for some, this outdoor unit can use power over ethernet (POE), which means fast connection speed and electrical power over that same cable using a POE switch or an "injector". It all depends on your setup. If you have the ability and will, wired ethernet is the way to go.
This is important if you have multiple wireless cameras and other data heavy devices. Otherwise, as MrWrigley said they can still talk to each other.

yes but since u got triband anyway (6E), don't go back to dual band.

even though 6E is a tri-band, your devices will only be able to use one band at a time, whereas, wifi 7's MLO will let your wifi 7 devices use both bands (in dual-band - 3 bands for tri and 4 bands for quad) simultaneously.

MLO is neat but if going Wifi 7 why not get the full triband lol

like someone said, tri-band is $300 and since it is meant to be for outdoor, lower frequency signals can go further (6 GHz is almost line of sight with ~50 ft range)
