Now here's the kicker... I then instantly got an apparent scam email payment receipt FROM 'Paypal' (same appearance/graphics/format as a genuine PayPal receipt), but this came to the same email that I used with 'DigitalKeysBox', BUT my actual PayPal email is totally different.
(So ANY legit PayPal receipts I ever receive comes to THAT email and not the email I gave DigitalKeysBox.)
The fake PayPal email shows "You paid $12.00 USD to James Branch".
As I said, this fake PayPal email came within 10 seconds after the sales email from DigitalKeysBox
So I then went directly to the legit PayPal website, log in, and it shows NO record of any payment to 'James Branch' or 'DigitalKeysBox' or ANY purchase in the past several months (which 'should' be correct, as I never selected 'PayPal' for the order).
But this DigitalKeysBox purchase does show they sent me a scam/fake PayPal email receipt AND wrong/scammy PayPal billing info on DigitalKeysBox's receipt and order forms.
I'm going to try downloading MS Office directly from Microsoft and if the key doesn't work then I'll dispute the charge with my credit card issuer, as I have plenty of evidence (fake/phishing PayPal email they sent) to show 'funny business' on their part.
I've had 100% success rate with the 3 or 4 disputed charges I've files in the past, even tho this one is a smaller $12 charge.

The vast majority of computers in use today all run Linux.
The top 500 Supercomputers all run Linux.
Nearly every major business runs Linux.
Most host providers and websites run on Linux.
Nearly every device you own from your car to your Smartphone or toaster runs on LInux
It dominates servers, cloud systems, nearly all super computers, and billions of devices using Android. Not to mention nearly all TV's. Not so much desktops because Microsoft got where it is today by imposing restrictive licensing deals on computer makers, preventing them from installing other OS's, until they lost a big anti-trust case.
Imagine being a luddite in 2026. Keep drinking the Windows kool-aid. Now THAT'S funny, Hahahahahahaha!
NO NO NO NO...........thats the most dangerous thing you can do.

Once you give your credit card, you could be seeing 1000 dollar drones bought in Germany in the next week. For Aliexpress I do use a specific credit card only for that address. For this site, it going to be something else. I do have a paypal account with a few bucks in it with no links. But I think the debit card is the way to go.
If I use the card online, could someone try to charge 1000 dollars for a card with only 10 dollars on it and make me responsible for the 990 dollars
No, you cannot be held responsible for a $990 "overage" because the card is prepaid and declines if the funds are not available.
Unlike a standard credit card or a bank-linked debit card that might have overdraft protection, these cards are "hard-capped" by the balance you loaded at the kiosk.
️ Why You Are Safe from Large Charges
Automatic Decline: If someone tries to charge $1000 on a card with only $10, the transaction will simply be declined by the Visa network for "insufficient funds". Online systems check the balance in real-time before approving the sale.
No Credit Line: These cards do not have a credit feature. You cannot "owe" the card issuer money like you would with a bank.
Note for scams you probably will not get your money back. But you protect your idenity which is worth more than 12 bucks.
How to Buy and Use a Prepaid Card for Privacy
Where to Buy: You can buy prepaid Visa or Mastercard gift cards at retail locations such as grocery stores (Kroger, Safeway), drugstores (CVS, Walgreens), or big-box stores (Walmart, Target).
Purchase with Cash: When buying in-store with cash, the transaction is not linked to your personal bank account.
Activation Fees: Most prepaid cards have an upfront purchase fee, usually around $1.50 to $5.95, in addition to the amount you load onto the card.
Usage: Once purchased, these cards are generally activated immediately or within 24 hours and can be used for online purchases where Visa/Mastercard is accepted.
Registration: While you can use some cards immediately without registration, registering the card with a fake name or temporary email may be required by some sites for validation, though it is not strictly necessary for the funds to work. However, registering protects you if the card is lost.
I would be using a limited debit card (cash card like those gift cards you can buy) with limited funds with no tracking to your credit cards, paypal, or worse is bank accounts. Like have 15 bucks on it.

If you can't afford the 365 subscription, just download directly from MS, activate via script, and enjoy your clean computer...
