I currently have it as my main router. It has no drops with 20+ connected devices and range is also good in a 800 sqft home.

I bought this exact one during the holidays at the same price but with a $20 promo. $103.xx after tax. Returned it 2 days ago.
I wanted to replace my TP-link AC4000, which I bought from Costco many years ago. It's a 3,200sf house. Router is placed on 2nd floor. The AC4000 was able to cover both inside, outside, upper, lower floors, and garage.

The new AXE75's signal wasn't as strong. The WiFi6 signal was in and out on my phone when I'm working downstairs in my office. Some of my WiFi devices in garage couldn't connect to the new router. I could see the weaker signal indicator on my phone when I am in the garage compared to the signal from the old AC4000.

The new router was placed right next the the old AC4000 without any obstructions.

I had both routers working at the same time in order to troubleshoot issues.

Firmware was automatically updated.

In my opinion, the AXE75 may be great in a smaller house. However, It's a bit weak for my house (when my old AC4000 could easily provide full coverage).

I hope this info helps.

Well the 6GHz (Wi-Fi 6E) band has much higher bandwidth but significantly less range and wall penetration than 2.4 GHz or even 5 GHz. As devices prefer 5/6 GHz when available, they can show weaker signal in distant rooms, lower floors, or garages. In larger multi-story homes, that often means you need additional access points to match the coverage older setups appeared to provide.
For your setup you would do better with a mesh system with a house that size and multiple floors

I had the TP-Link Archer AX11000 and got a TP-Link Deco XE70 Pro (just a single one), and while the 6E bands are great and much faster than AX, the customization/features of the router just arent there. I'm tempted to grab this one instead

edit: realize it only has 1gb wan. Gonna pass

it depends. why do you want to upgrade? If you're in an apartment the new 6GHZ band will be basically free of noise/interference. The router only does 1gig so keep that in mind as well
