FYI, Nothing doesn't consider Amazon an authorized reseller, and based on others' experiences, will deny warranty claims on these if anything goes wrong.

These are the same price directly from Nothing. Why even bother with this unauthorized seller? https://us.nothing.tech/products/...lour=Black

correct. they still aren't officially authorized retailers and nothing will tell you to pound sand when these give up the ghost early on you. these are cool looking budget earbuds, but mine lasted 54 weeks and nothing told it was over a year and i should buy new ones

Limited support doesn't mean warranty right?

Had an Amazon seller deny their own products warranty coverage so anything is game for them

Love mine. Don't know what plastic they use. But I've dropped them so many times on pavement with zero cracks. LDAC codec too. Mine have been fine so far, zero issues 2 years later.

I love mine. I got them in late 2024. They have a nice neutral tone, and is one of the higher rated wireless buds on rtings.com. It also can connect to two devices at once. So I connect my phone and tablet to it.

If it's an issue that occurs within the manufacturer warranty period and is typically covered by the warranty, the protection plan doesn't kick in- they'll refer you to the manufacturer, which will likely deny the claim with not being an authorized retailer. Then you're stuck in limbo fighting with the protection plan people sending you in a circle.

I have had great luck with nothing buds. Earbuds in general seem designed to have problems, but I have had mine for two years and I still think they are great. Not the best noise canceling compared to my other earbuds, but the microphone and sound quality more than make up for it.

You could at least get them fixed after the first year? Meanwhile you use another earbud?

Yep, you would have to wait to report the claim until after the first year runs out.

Typically these coverage plans say in the fine print you have to report the defect within a certain period of time to be covered.

I will admit the warranty coverage issues are concerning, but I have been lucky. I mainly picked them up for the microphone quality...followed by sound quality.
