Pretty slick deal. Just be mindful of Bestbuy's $45 restocking fee for phones: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/help...9841190375

If this was at least the 256gb I'd pull the trigger. I'm on pixel 7 with 128gb and would like the extra space now.

I agree, I have the 9pro 256 and I would never go back.

This is a great price for the Pixel 10 Pro, but I'm curious about the 128GB storage. For those who already have it, does the AI and high-res camera fill that up too quickly, or is it enough with cloud storage?

128gb is definitely not enough for those who like to save pics and videos on the phone storage. You'll need to sync with cloud storage.

I have plenty of fast external and portable SSD drives.

Very surprised as well. My family is all pixel (owned pixel xl all the way to the 9 pro at various points). The 9 pro so far has been bullet proof...took a chance and didnt wait for TSMC to make the SOC because it was so cheap. So far, my wife has had zero issues. No radio, battery, screen, the usual suspects.

However, I cannot vouch for their specious and roundabout warranty process (had 6 pro exchanged four times), and I think you lose even that if you dont buy this phone new. However, this would be excellent trade-in fodder for future (new) pixel phones.

The 128gb on this is criminal. Same default storage since the pixel 5. This is something Samsung actually got right.
These come with 1 year manufacturer warranty as per Bestbuy CSR.

Agreed that grapheneos is better than stock, but what's wrong with upgrading now that the pixel 10 is out of beta for grapheneos? The pixel 6a only has another year and a half before it's legacy - I don't think grapheneos officially continues support beyond what upstream gives them to work with.

Your comment makes more sense if this is not bootloader unlocked. Is that specified somewhere? I see carrier unlocked, but I don't know what specific models that best buy sells. I got my pixel 9 direct from Google, but I know Verizon models for example will never be bootloader unlocked and thus aren't able to have grapheneos.

I have this version. If you drink the google kool-aid you'll never think about it, because they'll just get uploaded to the cloud.

When you buy new, you get one year of Google Plus or whatever they call it now that gives you Gemini Pro and a huge chunk of cloud storage. I'm not sure that'll be the case on these open box models, but if it is, it's an even better deal.

128GB is a headache with modern video resolutions and camera resolutions. I've regretted my 128gb Pixel 7 Pro's storage size after a single year of ownership.

Depends on your usage. For me 128GB is perfect. I wouldn't say no to more storage of course, but the price premium is not worth it for me. I've had the phone for about 4 months and I consistently have over 30GB free. I'm not a heavy app user. I prefer to use a website unless the app provides unique features. I'd rather not give them permissions to my data and such for no reason. But I do keep a decent amount of music and podcasts downloaded. And I take a decent amount of photos and videos (that gets automatically managed by Google photos' backup).

I have the same question. Can we go in-person to see a Good Condition phone, make sure its scratch free and comes with accessories?

Does anybody know how to check if the phone is actually unlocked, how many battery cycles, etc, when picking up at the store (and before actually checking out)? Do you need to fully activate the phone to know that info?
