Ive had multiple Motorolas over the years and their android is very close to stock android, which is what i prefer. Are you saying you dont like stock ?

Agree there is a lot of junk that keeps redownloading. Like spam Chinese game apps and stuff but we have a BYOD program and the 2024 moto flip has been my work phone (work in healthcare). Have a iPhone 16 pro as my personal. It's been great for Epic Haiku and works decent. I don't think their UI is on the same level as a Pixel, Nothing or Samsung phone but is sufficient

I have owned both the 2024 and 2025 plus models, and minus the software updates (3 vs 4 years, respectively) and the slight change in hinge there wasn't much of a difference for me. I definitely would not have upgraded had I known how little of a difference there was, but if buying now, if software updates are worth $60 extra bucks for you, it might be worth it. Can't really lose either way for $220 and $280. Same processor, same form factor for the most part, and similar cameras.

It is asking to activate with Verizon or AT&T. Not for $280.

Use best buy app or mobile website as mentioned in the pixel 10 pro open box thread.

The specs of the Razr+ 2025 are very similar to the Razr+ 2024. In fact, the 2025 model uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is slightly less powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used in the 2024 version. Because of that, the $220 deal for the Razr+ 2024 seems like the better value overall.
The main advantage of the 2025 version is the longer software support. However, that may not be a major factor since most people tend to replace their phones within a couple of years anyway.

Motorola is basically stock save for a couple of apps, definitely less blot than Samsung and most other companies. So not sure what your are complaining about unless you want the blot ui.

I think you have spamware on your phone. I have had multiple Motorola phones and never got random downloads.

Not sure if it's all models, but Motorola liked installing total garbage games whenever they'd do an update, on a phone that I got for free from a carrier a few years ago. The apps always showed up right after an update. It was annoying and stupid.

You are correct. There is an installed app that you have to disable to stop the garbage games from re-installing again after you have uninstalled them.
