Maybe I got a bad batch of these the last time but the foil lids on these are absolutely horrendous. Most of these had the opening tab break-off on me and I was left struggling to use a corner tear to get them open.

No, it isn't you and you didn't get a bad batch. The foil on all of these is horrendous, but my furballs love this stuff. I wind up wearing it about 1/4 of the time.
BTW, Thanks OP! The furballs will love you for at least 3-5 minutes.

You can use a knife to cut along the edge of the foil when that happens. you can't really re-seal it when you go that route if not giving kitty the whole portion, but you can wrap it in foil or saran wrap for later.

i like how the portions are smaller but you get two, better for most cats this way anyways
