This is actually a decent deal for a change. Don't pay any attention to the MSRP (when can we actually believe that anyway lol). I had researched both this and the larger version (the XXL) maybe 2 years ago and my coworker ended up getting the XXL. It is mediocre and didn't get as loud as other party speakers its size. While looking into them, I seem to remember reading that this model was apparently designed by Klipsch where the XXL is apparently just a rebrand that they purchase from a manufacturer and put their name on (pretty common as a global practice). The sound signatures of both are supposedly pretty different because of this difference with the better quality going to this model. Now, all of that being said, I have never personally listened to this model. The XXL does not necessarily impress with bass output, overall volume, or clean sound when used at full volume. The Gig XXL has frequently gone for maybe $20 more as open box or refurb-excellent condition from reputable eBay sellers which is what made my coworker buy it in the first place. I'm half tempted to order one of these just to play as I've been increasingly curious about how it holds up to other form factors but just haven't needed anything this size and would literally be buying it to test, play with, and sell off to friends who don't like to find deals the way I do (a pretty common occurrence and I've become well known as the guy to go to when someone wants a deal lol).

I would love to hear some feedback about whether or not this has held up against any other solid budget (or non budget) options out there. For $65, it seems like it would satisfy most people's needs pretty handily
