All to establishments that would charge a fee for CC pmt but no fee for debit.Unless there is more to your story net outcome doesn't change. It's either you spend all $$$ now with your marriot card and get benefits, or you spend that same exact $$$ during extended period of time to get exactly the same benefit.
You also need to replenish your credit card spending with cash which means you lose 5% APR on that.
Your argument would only make sense if you could cash out these cards and pay your credit card bill with that, however, I doubt that's possible.
My main issue with prepaid virtual credit cards is how to use up the last penny unless I buy gift cards.

Credit card bonuses, meeting minimum spend. E.g. Chase Ink Cash earns 5x UR at staples.com. These points can be very valuable when transfered to Hyatt or airlines.
