Most gyms use plates with a 2" hole, this is 1". Assuming you mean 2" as "regular", then this bar would not work (or at least the plates would not be very secure).You can buy 1" to 2" adapter collars online that would allow "regular" weights to work.

Edit: or it is possible to 3d print the adapter yourself if you have the means to do so

Ahh, thank you! It seemed too good to be true. I have a bunch of regular plates. 2 inch holes.

You can find a few 2" diameter curl bars for around $36 on Amazon though.
