I bought this same controller in black for $35 in November. Great controller but I would wait for a better price.

any experts spot a difference between this ultimate 2 Bluetooth model versus the ultimate 2 wireless model here for $49?

what's confusing is that both have a toggle switch on the back to go between 2.4ghz and bluetooth, so these seem functionally the same besides marketing?

also the one I linked comes in a nostolgic purple color and white is cheaper

so why???

apparently if you update the firmware via software tool on windows + usb c cable between controller and windows the Ultimate 2 Wireless version is identical and it is cheaper see my link

Not exactly sure what the difference is either, but the one in the deal mentions the Switch 2

It's the way they connect to the devices. Their wording of Bluetooth and wireless are different. Bluetooth connects through Bluetooth, wireless connects through the dongle only. Then you got the Switch only version in the mix to confuse you even more. Then the last kicker they throw in, Bluetooth only connects to android devices. Bluetooth on PC only works through Steam.
Has something to do with Xinput, Dinput.
