Price is cheap, but this would be the lowest of the entry level "gaming" computer you could get given the GPU and cpu. Definitely cheap if that's what your looking for and you need a prebuilt. That said you could put this together yourself (assuming you can and want to) for a little cheaper without really shopping for deals or buying used.

Above is quick example thrown together by selecting relatively cheap parts. Not saying these are ideal parts, but if you're going this cheap, you're not looking for the best. I personally wouldn't buy or build this, but offering another option if this is your budget.

Apples and oranges. Laptop will run hot and have TDP limit on CPU, but this desktop 5500 only has 16mb of cache so it's all gimped.

I assumed the buyer of this pc will not worry about upgrades so they are pretty much gonna keep it as is.

Cheaper, get a screen, mobile, same CPU & RAM about the same.

Apparently mobile 5060 is better than desktop 5050

--- Gemini
The mobile RTX 5060 generally outperforms the desktop RTX 5050, offering roughly 20-30% higher raw performance, 30% more CUDA/Tensor cores, and faster GDDR7 memory. While the desktop 5050 might have higher clock speeds, the 5060's superior core count makes it the better choice for 1080p/1440p gaming.
Key Comparison Points:

Performance: The 5060 mobile is roughly 20% to 30% faster than the 5050 mobile. In some games like Cyberpunk 2077, the 5060 offers significantly higher FPS at 1080p and 1440p.

Memory: Both feature 8 GB of VRAM, but the 5060 uses faster GDDR7, whereas the 5050 (including desktop) is limited to GDDR6.

Cores: The 5060 possesses 30% more CUDA, Tensor, and RT cores.
Efficiency: The 5060 often operates more efficiently, with higher performance per watt.
Which to choose?

Choose the 5060 Mobile: If you need higher FPS, better performance in AAA titles, and improved longevity for 1080p/1440p gaming.

Choose the 5050 (Desktop or Mobile): If you are on a tighter budget and primarily play games at 1080p, as it is still a capable entry-level card.

For most users, the RTX 5060 laptop provides better value due to its significantly higher core count and memory speed, even when comparing a lower-wattage 5060 to a higher-wattage 5050.
