This is what I got mine for last time. It is a beast! Got out a stuck lower control arm bolt that was pretty much welded on by rust. Well worth its weight in gold.

Just for yuks, I calculated that if this were indeed made of gold, it would be worth about $460,000. That's a hell of an impact wrench!

This is not a replacement for the mid-torque.
I'm a mechanic and have both mid and high torque guns. The high torque is heavy and larger. So I rarely use it. The mid is lighter and a little smaller. I use it everyday mostly for wheels but also suspension and other large bolts.


If you only get 1 impact gun the mid-torque is the one you want. The smaller lower torque gun is good for engine work like manifolds, valve covers, etc... The high one I pull out for crank bolts or other large higher torque bolts. Even then only to remove as the torque can shear a bolt easy.

The mid trq deal had hammer drill and impact drive for $150. 4ah and 2ah bats. That deal was a steal!

Mid trq is more of a goto. This high impact is heavy and large. I use the sub compact most of the time. With a 4ah+ bat it punches above its weight - BIGLY!
