He didn't know how the Costco gift cards come, anyone know how those are handled?
Email? Physical shipped? Thanks!
Scoping around the T-mobile site, it appears thru the "Compare Plan Details" were I to switch to Experience More w/Military Savings, my bill would stay the same as present. I wonder if somebody could redpill me on the cons for this; maybe someday it might get me eligible for one.
Just hammered my 4 max devices at Los Feliz Costco kiosk. In-person reps were super chill and laughed their faces off when they saw the four pos devices that I brought in for IMEI verification. Lol
Pro tip: wait til you RECEIVE AND INSPECT your new Pixel 10 device(s) for any defects before surrendering your trade in device(s) at your local TMO corporate store, or shipping em out to fulfill the trade-in. Your trade-in device(s) will be gone forever if you come to find a flaw/defect after the fact and end up having to play the return/exchange musical chairs with T-Mobile.
Per the terms, R499 has a limit of 4 devices. The real limit is 4 or the total number of lines, whichever is lower. So if you only have 3 lines, your limit is 3.
If you hit your financing cap, you can still get more promotions, but you will have to pay for the overage immediately. So if you only have $1k left in financing, you can still get 4 Pixel 10s with R499 promotion, but you will have to pay $3.2k - $1k = $2.2k up front. R499 will credit $3.2k over 24 months, so you will end up with lower or negative monthly bills for 24 months.
Finally, T-mobile allows you to stack multiple EIPs on the same line [reddit.com], the only criteria is the RDC (the promotional credits) must be different promotions. If you upgrade yourself online or through T-Life, you can upgrade lines with existing EIPs and the system won't ask you to pay them off unless you are trading in the device with the EIP. If you are upgrading through an agent, it's a coin toss, some won't care and just upgrade you, some will fight you and force you to pay off the earlier EIP and lose your RDC credits.

I'm wondering then if Costco primary member and Tmobile account holder are different people, who should be the one that calls the Costco Tmobile number then, the Costco member?
Would they then need to get permission from the Tmobile account holder to make the upgrades?
Was about able to trade in 3 iPhone 6 that I literally got out of dumpster diving a year ago 😂 one of them is "Find My iPhone" locked to previous owner, but the rep on the line said it's fine as long as imei is retrievable. Imei is printed on the back, so technically... 😆
Did this thru Costco phone call. Rep named Diego was very knowledgeable and instantly knew the deal. It all took 50 minutes tho, mostly just waiting. He apologized many times - said their system is very slow today. But the guy was cool and knew everything. $35 fee removed, Costco gift cards will be mailed in 2-3 month. Trade in drop at the t-mo corporate store for faster and easier process.
I went to my local Costco for face to face transaction, but the guy there refused, said they only play by the rules and this promo is online only. So I had to call, but that was very easy anyways.
I'm on old magenta by the way, account age is 4 years and 1 month. 10 lines for $200 total with 3 or 4 lines free.
Thanks everyone for very useful comments and hints!
