Lost me with two years of credits.... I hate when companies do that.
At least TMobile doesn't punish you with early termination -- you can pay it off and quit the plan. But true that you don't get credits unless you keep paying monthly plan.

If I have this correct -- TMobile started this, and it's forced the other carriers to move to it. Competition worked in that regard Smilie

Just upgraded two lines on ONE Plan Unlimited 55 via Costco. $140 tax paid today, $16 a month for 24 mths. Received $200 Costco GC. Planning on selling these right away at around $700 each for approx net $1100 profit. Easy process.

On T-Mobile Simple Choice plan. Upgraded 2 devices (LG V30 and Galaxy A71) by calling Costco T-Mobile. Rep was very helpful and knowledgeable. Ended up getting Pixel Pro 10 XL and Pixel 10 and some accessories. No activation fees. $200 Costco gift card 90 days after phones ship.

Of course! My family is in the Apple jail/eco-system, as well. So, I'll be keeping the Pixel 10s for trading them for iPhone 18 in the Fall.
Are you sure that plan is going to work? I thought that phones need to be paid off to trade in and if you pay off a phone each, you lose the remaining trade in credits.

I don't think you'll be able to use these Pixel 10s as trade ins for 2 years, but I could be wrong.

You're correct that the phone needs to be paid-off to be able to take advantage of another trade-in with T-mobile. My plan is to trade-in with Apple and continue paying the remaining EIP balance of the P10 phones to T-mobile. If the trade-in value is not very attractive (need to do some research on this), I might just sell the phones to relatives.

Sucks that I bought 3 from TMobile before I saw that I could have done it through Costco and saved the $105 activation fee plus received $300 costco cards Frown

Call and they should be able to do it. T-mobile or Costco number is better if you are a member
Thanks, called Costco and they were able to submit trade in using Note 2 on my ONE plan.

Did anyone happen to take advantage of this promotion on a line that also happens to have another recurring credit promotion on it and are receiving both credits? It may be too early to tell, but a Tmo rep told me that since one of the lines I have is already enrolled in another recurring credit promotion, this one would not apply and cited this part of the ToC: "May not be combinable with some offers, discounts, or promotions."

I was able to have two different trade in promotion and EIP on same line. Last time was some months ago in Oct 2025 with Apple trade in. Had overlapping Samsung phone promotion with 4 months left on that phone line. But I don't know if the rep is saying a recent promotion term change since Oct or scare tactic.

Don't need to activate the phone but if you want to unlock it after the 24 months it has to be on the t-mobile network at one point. Currently I think it's 40 days but that could change.
That means none of us can resell the phone as brand new unopened, if we need to open the box and activate it?
Or maybe the work around is just esim activate it and get the imei from outside box?
I guess it does make sense it needs to connect to tmobile network at some point to unlock after 24mo.

Thank you! I appreciate your datapoint and your sharing. Yeah, I am wondering the same thing as you as I want to be able to take advantage of this promotion, but I also don't want to be on the hook if the promotion doesn't attach.

I asked this question via T-Mo facebook chat and they said I qualified and it wouldn't be a problem I see both EIPs attached to a line in my account.
