You can do whatever you like as long as your account is active with T-Mobile.
Thanks. Did some googling and seems as long as you keep paying your regular bill, the credits keep coming and you should be able to do whatever you like, as you said.

The t-life app shows the promotion is no longer available. Is it still available at Costco or over the phone?
Still see it in my account and just called costco and they don't see an end date

Just tried to upgrade my second line. Called costco and the rep said the phone had to be carrier unlocked. Pretty sure that is not true. As long as it is paid off and not black listed should not be a problem. Using a flip phone form tracfone that I used to harvest minutes. Was never unlocked. Curious if any one else has done this. Other phone I'm trading in is very old. Can't even remember what service I used and don't think I knew what unlocking was then.
Any feed back is appreciated. Looking forward to not thinking about this anymore Smilie

Yes. I also called TMobile and verified that the plan wouldn't change. The CSR said, it wouldn't. Also, they mentioned that if there was something you did that would result in the plan changing, there is a separate confirmation for that.

Here's a scenario.... you sold the phone (as T-mobile locked) and the buyer activated and used it for about 12 months. Then they decided to trade-in that phone for a T-mobile promo similar to this one. Would the phone be ineligible, since it's still part of an EIP (yours) for another 12 months and not fully paid off?

This was a pretty straight forward if not one of the easiest process.

- Ordered Sunday through Costco #.

- Today correct promo ID already added this morning

- now just waiting Costco GC

Getting the 10 or 10 Pro? The rep said there is a monthly fee for the pro.

Good point! It's tricky. Will probably just hold onto them unless I give them to a friend or relative.

really simple

those that have this promotion will get upto $800 off
(forget the penny for below comparison)

if u get:

gp 10 . price is 800 get 800 off (==>free)

gp10pro. price is 1000. get 800 off (==>1000-800=200..==>pay 200 over 24m ..==>200/24=8.33....==>.pay 8.33 per month for 24 m)

It doesn't show in the app anymore but still works. I did two this morning and a friend of mine just did two about an hour ago (also no promo in the app but it worked once he called in).
