Mine is sitting here. You have 2 years to get full credit. You can hold the activation till then but in order for it to unlock it has to be active for 45 days on network. Also, you can set the number on each phone thru tlife app. Go to your account, click the specific number and select sim activation. From there you can assign which phone you want to activate to that phone number.
Thank you so much. Do we need customer service help to transfer psim to esim now? Or we can do it ourselves through the webpage / Tlife app?

Thanks.

are you saying phone will unlock after 45 days of activation ? I guess this is no longer true. it takes full 2 yrs/end of contract to get phones unlocked.
its either pay it off AND use the phone on tmobile network 40+ days to get it unlocked but you loses the 800 monthly credit

OR

wait till u get 2 yrs worth of credits and use the phone on the tmobile netowkr 40+ days. Depends on how desperate you are to get the phone unlocked

This question seems to be getting lost. For those of you who traded in at a corporate store, how long till you got the message that your trade in and the promotional value was confirmed? When I called I was told it would be after the store mailed it to the warehouse and inspected the devices. Which could be weeks. Most people who traded at a corporate store seemed to get a confirmation email or text pretty quickly. Thanks for any information

About an hour after it was turned in at a corporate store. The enrollment message also appears under Account Activity. If the promotion didn't attach you can contact T-force (social media customer service) on Facebook.

Thanks for the reply! I see the enrollment, just not that the trade in has been confirmed. Says received and assessed but not confirmed.

All my lines are showing the correct promo, and -as you know- I dropped all the phones to a store. None of them has shown "confirmed" as the status.

My understanding is that once the store verifies and accepts it it's not our problem anymore. This is why it is why trade-ins in store are so much better than shipping.

I may have missed this prevsouly but my challenge is that the rep I spoke with when placing the order indicated to either take the trade in's to the store OR mail them in - either option. Unfortunately, since I did not clearly indicate I would be dropping my trade ins off at the store, they generated a mail in label as well and sent it with the order. According to multiple stores I visited today, the stores can't accept trade ins once a mail in label is generated, the only option now is to mail them in. One rep showed me where they would normally be able to click to do the trade in in their systems and the option was not even present to do the trade in process. So, long story short, when they discuss with you about going to the store or mailing it in, be sure you are clear about going to the store if that's what you intend to do. Make sure they don't generate a shipping label for your in-store trade in process or you may be stuck having to mail them in.

Every order with a trade-in automatically gets a trade-in shipping label generated by T-mobile's order system. The trade-in shipping label is not your problem.

Got 1 to upgrade 9a. T-mobile must be desperate to keep customers from fleeing/cooking some sale numbers this quarter.

It takes 2 years to get full credit and also, you need the phone to be active for "40" days to be unlocked. Both of this condition must be met. You can pay it off early, but it has to be "active for "40" days on network, and also you will loose remaining credit by paying off early.

Thanks

It should be immediate on your account when you log into the tmobile website. I can confirm for all 4 of my trades. I did it in batches of 2 as my corporate store only had 2 in stock and I ordered the other 2 online, but all 4 trades done in store

They are lying !!!
I ALWAYS receive the shipping labels and I ALWAYS trade-in the devices in the store to avoid their prolonged warehouse drama...lol
