Each promotion has it's own limit, usually 4. If you are targeted for one of these iPhone promotions, the limits are separate from R499.

for example. let's say each pixel is worth $800 and you only have a $4,000 purchase limit.

I've done this routine with TMO 3 times, Xr, 12 pro, then 15 pro. It is kinda unnerving sending in a decent working phone, but everything always did work out without getting on the line with customer service, I would get promised credits, phones would get unlocked.
