AIO is currently $60 on Amazon according to another thread. Make this a $140 cpu. Not bad if you already have the ram and mobo.

14600k is better at multi thread workload but Intel's overclock/overvolt really killed quite a bit of them, I'd say after the BIOS downgrade, it's like -10% performance. Make sure you get your 14600K brand new from a legit source, and update the BIOS so your new 14600K won't die in a year. And if you have like 32GB+ left over DDR4 sticks and dont mind of -10% performance when comparing to DDR5, then buy a DDR4 board to go with 14600K will still work. Just FYI, DDR5 prices went up like 5x~10x, we are still in RAMageddon right now. No thanks to Open AI.

9600x if you want to bet on a chance to upgrade to Ryzen 9 10950X3D2 24cores 48 threads in the future.

I am personally using 9600x from the newegg Black Friday 2025 deal. 65W TDP is cool but most of the time CPU can use 105W. 105W is not hot, it's still cool.

For context, the BEST price on a 7600x I could get was $127 for an open box at microcenter. I think I'm going to get this instead.
