Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Hello, Lycamobile allowed you to carry your number to Metro normally?
Mine comes out to visit a store, first you could but I refused payment, now I get to visit a store.
Sorry, have not tried lyca. Was trying to see if anyone else had been successful with it. Was referring to other ways I was able to order by making some changes in the past to get past the visit a store page. Have found calling to be very helpful.

Tried Lyca but for some reason the number cannot be ported out, was also told to visit a Metro store.

Darn. Trying to avoid GV. Need to wait a bit anyway as I will have a number to port in about a month after my tracfone unlocks under the old unlock policy. Want to do one about a week from now and then use the tracfone number when it is available for a second phone on the same monthly plan. So much good information on this thread. Thanks

Yes, every phone order requires port in.

Bought this deal thanks. They also have the 16e for $99 + $55 for one month. If you keep it for 3 months they give you a $99 gift card. I think I will just do the month and store it in a drawer for the year.

Ah okay. If worked me for using my home zip.
Yeah some people on the thread have reported issues using their home Zip (I'm guessing their Zip didn't match their GV area code), I never tried my actual home Zip because I remember doing a similar Metro deal in the past and using the Google Zip but home Zip may have worked as well assuming it's one that's from the specific area code of the GV number.

Friendly warning: Google has recently changed its policy on new GV numbers. See this Reddit post below:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Googlevo...efore_you/
I only found out about it this morning when I tried to get new GV numbers on a couple of existing accounts but was asked to upload ID documents. I think I had had GV numbers on these accounts before Metro disallowed them for promos over a year ago but didn't bother to set up new numbers.
As posted in another thread, GV numbers may take long to be ported in and you may have to call Metro to speed up the process. My first Metro order is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I have activated the line without any problem, but my GV number is still active and there's no email from Google about it being ported out. I can't login to my Metro account as my GV number is not getting the verification code, not until the port-in is complete.

Does metro automatic enroll your credit to auto pay, or it will just cancel my service after a month? I don't want to call them to cancel it or do I need to log in and disable auto pay ?

Tmo owns Metro so not eligible. Go with a Verizon or Att MVNO.
Mint mobile is a t-mobile mvno, do you think that might work (mint mobile has a cheap starter kit, like 7 day trial).

Try incognito mode, different browser, different device, different email, different credit card.
