When porting out of Google Voice to Metro, do I add 1 in the beginning of account number followed by actual google voice number or just the google voice number? Thanks
No 1 needed, just the area code and number

Still trades in for $180 at Apple. So if you want an apple tv 4k and some left over credit still worth doing.
Can you trade it locked?

I didn't see this? Did I so something wrong, I went straight to the payment page
It didn't ask me a full address but when you go to the port in section it will ask the account number, pin and the zip code. That's where people are saying you can use the Google HQ zip. It worked for me using GV number.

If you want to use the phone while you wait for it to unlock, isn't the 16e from Cricket a better deal? Newer phone and only 6mo to unlock instead of 12?
Cricket deal requires 2 months at $60 upfront plus the $49.99

port in went through but on the last step it landed on "your security is important to us, contact customer service....." Even customer service couldn't place order for me. Some stuck with my name/address from last year although I didn't order anything from Metro since March 2025.
Any luck trying again Lyca number? Did you try changing your unit number? New credit card or virtual card? don't capitalize your name? Different name by a letter. Different email? Those have all worked for me before. Looking for an easy number to port so this is helpful and not a fan of GV. Missed the $5 agc for a number to port and am still open to that. Thank you

Yes, but as I mentioned earlier, one of the three that I traded had a problem in the system and had to have a manual override at the apple store

Hello, Lycamobile allowed you to carry your number to Metro normally?
Mine comes out to visit a store, first you could but I refused payment, now I get to visit a store.

Since google voice and visible won't work anymore, what's the cheapest way to port in for metro nowadays?EDIT: after reading the comments on this thread, I see that many people are reporting that a google voice number can be ported over to metro again (like the good old days).
What happens to Google voice once you port the number over? I wonder if you can then use that number to create Google accounts..

how can I go and unlock this, to be used with t-mobile since this would be the cheapest way or that would be a no-no thing?

2 part question. After a month of service, can this phone be sold/given to another Metro user to use with their sim/esim?Can this be used by another metro user if you don't activate the phone when received. for example. new in box.
It has to be removed from your account first. So you would need another phone to replace the iPhone on your account. Then it can be used on another account. Phones are linked to accounts with their service.
