Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

How you got 2 number from cricket with 2 line and 2 ip13 in 171. it shows 210 for me
I added two lines to cart with new number/customer option instead of port-in. Initially it showed up $189 but during scrolling between pages when I was going to close the browser, it popped up with a $25 discount making it $164.98 + tax
I can try again and generate that $25 coupon for you but you have to pay me $10 per coupon 😀

Have you ever partaken in a Metro deal in the past? It's possible that Metro has banned you and now refuses to do business with you for whatever reason. Naturally, customer service never tell you that openly if you ask. But since Metro is refusing to even attempt to process your payment, I'm guessing that that could be why.
Thank you. This cannot be in my case. Only had one free trial from T-mobile in past several years, and no interactions with Metro until this month. Apparently, the failures (at least twice) are happening at the Metro payment step. My credit card company doesn't even see an authorization attempt coming through from Metro. Whereas Metro tells me that my payment confirmation hasn't happened, and that's why the port is stuck.

Whoever said to change the zip code to 00000 is bogus. That did not work. Now we have to call in t-mobile to reverse it. Do not listen to that misinformation.

1. I'm still using my 13 pro with the latest ios update zero issues. I could have kept it on the 77% battery but I like the pro camera and went ahead and ordered the apple DIY battery and replaced it myself, for $50 it'll last me a few more years.
2. I was shocked to see someone say 16e doesn't have magsafe... luckily it still does have Qi charging and the case can have magsafe magnets so i'll still be able to use my wireless car mount.
3. After the first GV ports over, when you 'add a line' for a second purchase, is it same discounted price as a new line, or will I have to get a new GV number and port in again?

Big benefit on the 16e is the battery is the newer chemistry and has twice the charge cycles vs anything before the 15, and of course USBC.

Not sure what is happening and confused.

- I placed my 2nd order/line for a i13 at Metro on 2/15, porting in a number from Lyca.
- Got a shipping notification email on 2/16. Soon after I activated on Metro website & received activation confirmation email from Metro on the same day (2/16).
- i13 was delivered earlier today. Turned on i13, went thru the set-up and got confirmation on the i13 that it is activated.
- However, the phone number is still active on Lyca (I have the Lyca eSIM on my other spare phone). I could make calls and send texts.
- I am also able to make calls and send texts from the i13.
- On the i13, tried calling the same number I ported into Metro (from Lyca) and the phone with the Lyca eSIM rings
- On the phone with Lyca eSIM, tried calling the same number I ported out (to Metro) and it goes to voice mail

Thoughts?
how exactly did you get your account number/port pin from lyca - phone app, desktop website, called in?

Pursuant to your request, the termination with 0xxxxxxxx number (my new lyca number) portability will be performed

I haven't yet. Will give it a try and report back. Thanks
I tried all options that were suggested to no avail. The damn phone is still locked. Is there anything else I can do before calling them again? I'm sure I'll get the same answer as before.

You need to call metro ask to speak to the porting dept and ask them to complete your port. Regular CS cant do this for you only the metro port dept.

I posted that and info is not wrong GV does not use zip to authenticate ports. I was successful with porting using 00000 as so was 4 of my buddies…your the person spreading miss information. Sorry but that was not your issue don't let your frustration lead you to post wrong information you will just mess it up for someone else

If your port in stuck or order didn't go through. Possibly a port in hold was placed during that failed attempt so call Metro portability team on 1-800-518-7519. Tell them to release port in hold. They will ask phone number you tried to port in, name you used during that failed attempt and most importantly the PIN number you selected during same failed attempt. Once they remove the hold, they suggest to try after 24 hours so it gets completely cleared from there system.

If you already have metro service, can we get this iPhone 13 at $30 with a port-in?
