Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Seems like more GV port was incomplete, like others, incoming calls route to GV still. I want to generate another GV# to try and get another phone. Is it necessary to call metro to complete the port?
Yes, i also ported from GV. I had to call the port(1-800-518-7529) dept but a 5 minute phone call and they fixed it. Make sure you mention the porting # is from a "landline"

Call metro at 800-518-7519 and tell them you can make calls but not get them; they will take care of it on the spot.
add the 1...as in 1-800-518-7519 or it routes to some scam place for some carriers!

Bought a lyca $5 plan ($5.25 after fees) yesterday. Canceled the autopay and deleted my credit card today in case something goes wonky while porting. You will need to install the esim into a spare phone as you will need it to receive the OTP codes to log into online lyca account and again to show your account/pin info

Was able to buy a second phone thru metro (iPhone 16e 99.99+$35 month fee+$8.75 tax). The porting process took about 5-6min online. Waiting to receive phone and activate.
Did you have to receive the first phone and activate it before being able to order the second one? How did you do this? Thanks

follow-up on my failed lyca request from yesterday

as the other people have mentioned, i had to call the metro port department (800-518-7519. not the regular 611)

they pushed through my prev gvoice number port (2nd line) and then cancelled the failed lyca port (3rd line)

i waited ~22 hrs and just tried the lyca number again. this time it went through successfully

i wanted to give shout-outs to mhanif99 and LILLYS_CLOSET for their expertise in this thread

Tried to place an order for second line(IP13). Got the message "Please contact us to complete your order." Has anyone had success contacting the 1800 number to get the second line added?

Hi all quick question, I tried for a 2nd line for iphone 13 for 30 usd . The Google voice ports go through no issues but the payment at the end states that for my security I must call metro or visit a store does that I mean I'm internally flagged for buying too many devices ? Cuz I called the metropcs number they provided sales and they couldnt put it through either but there was no problem reserving the port number Thank You.

When placing an order, does the phone number immediately port over to metro, or does the porting actually start when the line is activated? I have a tracfone line will expire on 2/25 and also the date that phone will be unlocked, I don't plan to renew tracfone line

No you just pay for 1 month and then put it in a drawer or use it as a WiFi device.
Thats what i did a year ago with this same deal and my iphone 13 is about to unlock tomorrow.
