Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Agent get this message instead of your security is important....

"Order authorization has failed due to Customer Protection Review. Transaction cannot be processed and will be aborted. Please direct the customer to visit their closest Metro by T-Mobile retail location to complete the purchase."

So I tried several times without success, I am eyeing on the ATT prepaid promotion as an alternative (I just need the phone for trade in Pixel 10a), they have:iPhone 13 - $49.99 ($299.99 without a new line)You'll need toStick Out Tongueurchase an eligible phone.Activate a new line of service on a phone plan (min. $45 + tax) and make a payment. 12-month annual plan not eligible.Sign up for AutoPay in the same transaction (in-store only).Pay activation fee $15 per line for AT&T retail store and in-home expert activations.Pay any applicable sales tax. My math is you pay:$49.99 for the phone,$45 plan for a month,$15 to activate.Total: $110 +tax.I am okay with this number, however I need to enroll AutoPay at the activation, the question is: How easy it is to cancel AutoPay with ATT (thus to avoid paying anymore months)? I know some carriers make it really hard to cancel.Anyone had experience?
In this price you can also get from cricket wireless and if you have to use it for trade in then 2 devices with new lines in $165

If you ported out the number then there is nothing for them to charge you as you are not part of their network anymore.
Plenty of complaints on line, users on Reddit forums have reported that Lyca Mobile can continue charging even after a number has been ported. I made a mistake paying with my standard card, I will immediately dispute with the bank if they try it also on me.

yeah I got similar response from agent. Visiting store usually kills the deal because of all the additional fees and charges.

I just got my phone and activated it.

I can make out going calls, but cannot receive calls. When I call the Metro line from my other cell pone, I get a recording tat says "Hi, if you leave your name, I will try and see if the person is available" or some thing like that.

I also cannot send or receive text messages.,

I called Metro, but all they did was reset my phone number and told me to restart my phone.

No change.

I checked the phone settings for call screening: It is set to not call screen.

Anybody having the same issues or is it just me?

Thanks

I am trying to order the 2nd phone, but it won't go thru. Is the deal dead? Or it only works for the first line?

You ported a Google voice number and porting is incomplete. You must call Metro porting at 800-518-7519 and tell them it's a land line port and they will fix it. Do not delete your GV number.
