Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

Managed to buy 1 iPhone 13 and 1 Galaxy Watch 7... Couldn't get a Galaxy A9+ tablet or another phone - seems to be stuck at contact them to complete purchase or whatever that message was.

On a side note... how does one transfer the phone plan to another phone? It doesn't seem to be accepting my Pixel 10 IMEI #s when using the change device under my account.
Brute force - keep trying and it will eventually let you change the device.

If my port in doesn't go through all the way but I only use the phone for trade in, don't care about keeping number…should I bother with support call? Only thing not working is receiving calls (goes to google)??

Port in question (searched the thread already): can you pot from cricket to metro?
I did the iphone16e deal earlier this month with cricket > could I just port that number to get iphone13 with metro?

If you don't care about using the line, there's no need to contact support. Eventually, I'd say within 2-3 weeks, GV will complete porting the number out.

Cricket uses AT&T network, so you can port a Cricket number to Metro.

So i guess with different emails, you are paying $55 each line instead of $30 additional second line?
How does the discount on a second line work? If I were to pick a different phone once I've got my first one activated, do I need to buy the same $55 plan to get the discount? And it gets a $25 discount for being a second line? So I can get that amount of discount with any phone? (And of course the difference will be that some phones have a cost for the phone itself).

If I port my Metro line to a different phone, would the iphone still unlock in one year?

Also, the wiki says: "port is not complete until you get a confirmation email from google." But the purchase of the phone went through at Metro, so does that mean the port is complete? I didn't get a confirmation of port from Google, but I did get a confirmation it was unlocked.

After you logged into your Metro accounr and select Add A Phone-->select the i13-->verify that the number you have for port-in is eligible, the site will display "Here's the cost to add your new phone plan. $30/month. Additional line on $50/$55 plan". If the 2nd or 3rd phone you selected requires a $60/$65 plan, then you'll have to select that $60/$65 plan as its own 1st line, no discount.

Read posts from the last few days. If you can make outgoing calls/texts from your new Metro phone but INCOMING calls/texts still go to GV, then the port is only half-complete.

I have been reading, trying to keep up. Still didn't catch that part amidst so much I'm trying to figure out about many aspects of this offer and a corresponding one. Thanks for the tip, though.

Just call and give them port in # and pin # and credit card #. It takes about 20-30 minutes. After received the phone and after set up, the phone is ready to use. And order another one for $30.
now the one answering the phone have your credit card # and cvv? or do we have to use a one time virtual card?

I tried to order a second line. At the end, I got a message to call Metro support. Called support and they said to talk to the porting department. The porting department said they reset everything and to try again.
I tried a second time and got the same error message to call support.
If I get the right person in Support, are they able to process the second line? One of the posts in this thread said to try talking to the Sales department. Other posts said not to bother since I go the "call Support" message.
Just wanted to know the best course of action.
