This thing does work in my experience. But 15 is too much it's literally just a piece of plastic. 5-6 dollars on amazon or less is what you should pay for this unless you are very overweight or concerned with breakage.

Same but the lower ones are harder to find these days. Companies just default to the higher ones to meet code.
