Some advice: when shopping with them, spend the $5 or whatever on shipping insurance. My purchase from them arrived with significant damage. The insurance refunded me the cost and let me keep the damaged (but still usable) item - in this case, an amp.
We ended up negotiating on a used Duo Sonic to make it right and got them to knock another $100 off when the pickguard arrived wavy. I believe the total was like $200, which I couldn't pass up 5 or so years ago when I bought it. Straightened the pickguard in the oven under low heat, just sold it early this year since I barely played it.
Edit: oh, I actually bought something more recent. Am Pro II Strat in Miami Blue. First one had bad touch up on the neck. Second one had a couple paint issues and a screw Fender didn't even bother to drive in. Didn't bother keeping either even though they were 30% off (which is still like $1200).
This is the color Adorama has been selling at a discount for several years and is offered on other often pricier Fender lines.
Community Reviews
This Lake Placid Blue Player II Stratocaster is drawing attention as a strong value for a Mexican Fender, with the rounded edge neck, smooth feel, and easy playability standing out. Several arrivals were brand new, well packed, and in perfect condition, and the color is described as an exclusive Adorama finish that looks good. The main caution is shipping risk, since some orders arrived damaged or looked like returns, so shipping insurance is worth considering. A solid Strat option if you want a fresh Player II without paying full retail.
Several buyers reported the guitar arrived brand new with smooth, easy playability.
Some orders reportedly arrived well packed with the original Fender box inside.
Shipping insurance reportedly helped when a shipment arrived damaged, with replacement coverage.
The rounded-edge neck can feel nicer to play than entry-level Squier guitars.
The discounted guitars may be returned items, which can include neck pocket cracks or other defects.
Some shipments reportedly arrived with cosmetic or assembly problems like paint touch-up issues and missing screws.
Some orders reportedly involved returned products being reshipped in worse condition, including wavy pickguards.
The stock tremolo may be effectively not very useful, and using it can cause tuning issues.

The Adorama Lake Placid Blue Strat!
I can always count on this popping up every month or so on the front page.

There ARE some drop-in nuts but you'll find that often they don't fit right and need modification anyway. Usually these are nuts made of unusual materials such as graphite or brass, where it's harder to shape them.
