It's not bad. We've been spoiled by these exact dumbbells going .50 cents a lb the last 2 months. Not bad, not spectacular

If you need them asap, sure it's a decent deal

How long do you expect for $.50/lb to come back around?

That seemed to be a one time clearance deal around the holidays from a Walmart seller. I've been tracking for over a year and generally speaking 150lb sets for $130-150 are considered good. That clearance deal was amazing but seems to be the exception and not the rule.

Not really a deal go to Marshall's Ross or Tina's
Much cheaper
As for weights 10 pounds is nearly useless if your a man I would do 20 pounds minimum each hand
...that's ridiculous. Depending on what body part/exercise you are working 10lbs can be a solid amount. Drop sets, definition.

As far as a deal.. .50 per pound deals seem normal these days - and if you have patients just hold out till yard sale season.

It's not useless at all, especially when used for rehab, functional type training, etc.

I'd wait for the price to drop on these, you know they will.

Looks like they raised the prices. Oh well, I'll wait for 30 lbs to go back on sale at some point.
