Yeah, we have a V6 absolute that we've has for years. On its 4th battery replacement, it lasts around 90 seconds on a charge now. Definitely been looking at a new one vs. yet another battery. The vacuum has lasted us a long time.

My v10 lasted 10 years. Motor and the battery is still good believe it or not. I was considering a Dreame z30 given recent good experience with their wet vac but decided to pull the trigger on v15. Absolutely love the light function which I thought was a gimmick. I'd jump on this deal which is nearly half of what I paid for.

Is the V15 an obvious upgrade compared to the V10 animal in terms of suction/cleaning tile and carpet floors? Dont care about lights and fancy displays...

Personally I can't believe they're still selling new v8s after they developed the "linear" v10+ models. It's clearly just an entry level model to be able to charge more for the newer versions.

This is the move if you have carpets. The optic fluffy head is awesome for hard floors, but you're not doing much carpet cleaning with the attachments that come with the eBay deal. Motorbar head is a must for carpets.

I purchased a V9 through similar SD post years ago. My battery died just outside of the 12mo warranty. I contacted Dyson customer service to purchase a replacement battery and let them know I had purchased through eBay (Not through Dyson). They sent me a battery for free and extended my warranty for 24mo.

I also need to tell you guys that this is the only highlight my life has ever had.
