I was there earlier, prior to seeing this deal, and they had a similar one for a Dave's Single with the same language. I bought a chili and no drink, and got the $1 Single thru the app.

Have you had one lately? it is NOTHING like it used to be a few years ago. The patty is thin and while it might be a piece of breast meat, it is by far the cheapest/thinnest patty of any of the "premium" chicken sandwiches on the market. I would say it is a stretch to even call it a premium sandwich anymore, it is literally nearly equal to a McChicken, I had both 2 weeks ago showing my son the differences or basically lack of and explained to him that the Wendy's sandwich was once a great thing to behold. It was so good, it become a cultural thing to use it as a currency. "I'll give you $10k and a spicy chicken sandwich" It is a POS sandwich now, it should be criminal what Wendy's have done to that sandwich.

Sadly, that's just the way things are. So many chain restaurants do that. Like in their customer newsletter emails. "Free entree, ___" in the title . Sounds completely free? WRONG. Then click on email to see contents inside. Find out it's with strings attached, with a minimum purchase. Popeyes and Shack Shack giving out free items with $10+ minimum purchases lol. Expensive, to some people. Same with delivery apps, free item with $15-$20+ minimum purchase.

It's still there for me on the East coast at 1:40 AM, so I would think it should still be there for those on the west coast. However, I noticed that it "disappeared" at one point and seemed to be acting kind of quirky. And it seems like it may have gotten added to my cart in such a way that it no longer showed up in the offers section (and even though I never added any food to my cart).

Try this … force-close the app and then re-open it. Then, go to your offers section and select any of the other offers that show up (as if you want to use that other offer). See if it asks you to "replace the current offer". If so, click "yes" and see if the sandwich offer pops back up in your offers section.

Any other Cali users out there who can see if the offer is still showing up in your app?

I also tried picking a random location in Los Angeles just now and it lets me go though the order process showing the offer as valid and all the way to the point of placing an order. (I stopped short of actually placing the order, but it doesn't show any of the errors that would normally show up if it has a problem with it)

Edit: The offer was still showing as active at 2:40 AM Eastern, but seems to be gone now when checking again at 3:05 AM.
