These are only 1 watt bulbs, so yes, these will be pretty dim, especially with 37" spacing between bulbs.
I highly recommend 2watt bulbs for these string lights. a 1w bulb will have a single filament, a 2w bulb will have dual filaments and will be brighter.

Anyone have experience with how long they might last? Like 2 seasons and they are done or are they decent quality and last more than a few years?
