Nothing wrong with the vac, it's solid. The list price is irrelevant now, this item has been $79.99 on Amazon for months, so this is really 10% off. Meh.
It's also not a Stealthsonic, which is the only model I'll look at for now.

it was $110 on 12/1 and I don't see anyone selling this for $72. so that's what you have to go by to determine if this is a deal or not. List prices are always meaningless.

You think the only thing that determines whether something's a deal—in a market where even this manufacturer is competing with its own products—is the most recent price? Depending on your location and whether you're allowing the targeted, dynamic pricing algorithms know where you live, the standard price for this 6gal, 4HP [lowes.com] Stealthsonic ("Trending Now!" lol give me a break) is $85. If you've chosen a store in a high COL area, your price will magically be marked up to $95 even if you're having it shipped to you (for free). By your definition $85 isn't the standard price, it's actually 10% off—nevermind the fact this has been the standard price for months.

It's not helpful to tell people what does or doesn't make something a deal; these 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 are in an algorithmic arms race, selling data back and forth to target communities & squeeze every last dollar possible out of each and every one of us and you're over here telling people not to believe their lying eyes. 😂

Use your brain to assess if this is a good price, not an arbitrary "price history" very likely being manipulated, either intentionally or with exploitative algorithms—and that's assuming it's not being provided by the manufacturer outright—by the same people trying to bleed you dry while offering nothing in return.

This is a middle of the road price for this vacuum; it might as well be MSRP given the competition. Paying $110 is just masochistic.
