Is this capable of charging a full-sized 2-door fridge, typical for home use? Don't know how to look at the numbers to evaluate.
Expect to use about a full 1kwh to run a newer fridge/freezer combo for a day. If you don't open it, you might get closer to 1.5 or even 2 days. My garage fridge uses about 1.2kwh in 24 hours, and it was just a secondhand buy.

This is a perfect solution for potential outages. 2kwh units (Delta 3 Max, etc) would work as well, but dollar-for-dollar, this is the best security:runtime for a single unit. If you're looking to power other things stronger than a phone or two, consider a beefier unit to get closer to that 48 hour butter zone.

You'll just run your identical panels in series. If it's 12V at the panel, two in series will give you 24V, three will give you 36V, etc. There is more to consider, of course (max voltage and amperage ratings on your controller and the panel rating).

For someone not too knowledgeable on the subject, aside from reading, I'd recommend just sticking to the Ecoflow panels. No issues with compatibility, and staying under the maximum ratings you can run smaller panels in series to get your desired input to one port.
solar panels aren't batteries you can run in series?

they have diodes to prevent current going into them?

parallel can work but not series because of the diodes?

I've been running panels in series with my controllers for close to a decade now, no problems.

Don't take my word for it, though. Find some technical documentation from the manufacturer of your panels whether it be Ecoflow, Renogy, etc., the reputable ones will have wiring digrams to simplify it. There may even be some information in the literature that came with your power station.

A search leading to some solar forums will help out a ton, too (don't trust any AI overview for stuff like this, go to the sources). You'll see what other people have been doing with or without success.

It's 36.4 pounds and has a 500-watt solar charging limit. These are the only cons I see for my sitution. It's now sold out on EBay.

Good price, but keep in mind this is the previous generation model with all its quirks.
