If you're just getting into driving sims or want to grab a wheel set before Forza 6 comes out this is a great budget set at a good price and MUCH better than most of the wheels that hit the front page here on Slickdeals.
There are two things to realize:
1) This is the xbox version. If you want PS5 you need the G923.
2) Try it before you buy it. It makes a significant noise when you use it due to the plastic gears. It does not sound good and it makes you question if it will break. Supposedly it is just fine, but I couldn't get over the noise it makes while using it.
Alternatives for Logitech are their RS50 (mid range) or G Pro (higher end). One thought is to get this when on super sale just for the pedals to pair them with the other models as their pedals are more than this whole setup. This way if you like a racing set up and use it and want to upgrade for less than $1000 you can just buy the more expensive direct drive wheel and their adapter kit.
If you do buy this there are cheap mods to make it perform even better you can search for.
Pro tip: Logitech offers some great deals + % off from their website. You can wait for a deal from them and get some really good stuff. Plus they have 'refurbished' products that show up for large % off.
