Not that you should even bother. 4GB of RAM is straight up trash on a phone in 2026. Just like it was in 2021.

Though Moto got one OS upgrade and will get no more. Samsung has got 3 updates and is on the latest Android 16.
It makes total sense that Samsung would be REALLY SLOW when a moto phone would be SO MUCH FASTER... moto is known for near stock experience with little bloatware that can mostly be removed.
The issue I got is there is only three companies that provide ALL the bands to ALL the US networks... Samsung, Apple and Google. Based on that I must be a google pixel person for life.
And back to your comment.. it is not the OS, or amount of updates... it comes down to BLOATWARE and SPYWARE and moto has near stock google feel with very little bloat and ZERO spyware and SAMSUNG IS THE KING of bloatware and the KING of spyware. Not only is Samsung the worst regarding bloatware and spyware... they have also been the most vulnerable phones in the last two years due to all the third party apps and their twist on the OS that messes with everything... Samsung has been fighting with Google for over a decade regarding phone software... that may be the reason why Google is coming out with a NEW OS, one that combines chrome books and android... one that they will have FULL control over... unlike what Samsung is doing today or has done to Android.
Like not only is Samsung spying on you 24/7 (making your phone SLOW)... they are also installing apps WITHOUT your concent (making your phone SLOW). And I am sure when they install those apps without your permission, they are allowing for everything (notifications, alerts, etc... ) making the phone even slower. It gets to a point where it becomes a hassel to use your phone when Moto which had the same hardware will still work smoothly.
I have been saying for about 3 years... the "slowest" your CPU should be is a G99 or SD695, well... this CPU is the exact same speed (+-1-2%).
So if you do get this phone, it is the slowest a device that I would recommend BUT the 4GB of RAM kills the deal. Google has required a minimum of 6GB of RAM for any phone that starts with Android 16... these phones start with Android 15 so they don't have to follow the new rules. The point is, how do you expect this phone to function in a few years with all the new updates... specifically all the new bloat that comes with each new OS version.
People have already commented on how slow this phone is.
If you know how to tinker with the phone apps, specifically... you have a PC and can use ADB debugging to disable and eliminate what you can.
Lastly, these phone have the app... APPCLOUD. This is the app the downloads things without your permission based on your behavior. Appcloud is extreme bloatware and many people call it spyware.
I agree that when you have only 4GB of RAM, updates usually hurt you not help you.
Go to Settings - Apps - Galaxy Store - Mobile Data > Allow background data usage: toggle it off.
Now go back one step and select Change system settings - Allow permission- Toggle it off.
Go back a step again, Select Install unknown apps - Allow from this source- Toggle it off.
