Both games happen to be about climbing but completely different. Recommend Cairn to people looking at this is like going into a Mario Kart thread and telling folks they need to play Assetto Corsa.

If you are here probably go buy or play the game "cairn" it's really good. Trust me play it it's worth it.

It's fun game but level 2 is harder than the rest of the game for some reason. They introduced a ton of hazards in level 2 and never used it again. So don't get discouraged, once you get pass it it's easy sailing.

I assume you're talking about the ROOTS biome. It is tough, but the biomes rotate every 24hrs. Some days, you'll play in Tropics instead.

A LOT better with friends. Climbers can help each other up by boost from underneath or grabbing their hand to pull them up. When you get to the higher difficulties, the night time starts to freeze you. If you cluster together with other players, your body heat will keep you alive. Alone, you'll freeze your ass off. If you fall and take heavy damage, it'll knock you unconscious. A friend can heal you. If you're alone, you're doomed.

Huh, it took my friend and I about 14 hours to finish the first run and we've never seen the Tropics biome before. I guess we got unlucky and always get the Roots biome on the days we played.
